Finally…a glimmer

Well, I had to fly to Florida to attend a hearing to define the word “trip.”  I have a pretty good handle on the English language. Today’s hearing was to define what we meant in the last hearing about the word trip. My ex wants to take a two-week vacation during the summer to include one week of transition time, one week before and one week after, which would result in him getting 50% of the summer.

I couldn’t understand how a judge could hear this testimony and even consider making that decision. For today, finally, I saw the judge realize just what my ex is asking for and show the mask he has been wearing. My primary timesharing occurs during the summer. Today, in my opinion, was a setback for him. It was encouraging, for my efforts.

The judge’s decision will be made this coming Friday, and I am anxious to learn my fate and the fate of my girls. For now, the light is on and I remain encouraged.

Keep you posted.
